Directions

To reach APH Gatwick Park and Ride from the M23:

From the M23 Junction 10 (East Grinstead exit):

If travelling southbound, take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto A264 - Copthorne Way

If travelling northbound, take the 3rd exit at the roundabout onto A264 - Copthorne Way

Then follow these steps:

  1. Continue straight over the next roundabout (2nd exit)

  2. At the following roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the A2220, signposted Maidenbower

  3. Continue along the A2220, following signs for APH Parking Centre

  4. Drive past the Texaco Petrol Station (some sat navs may stop you here - keep going)

  5. After approximately 0.25 miles, turn right into Crawley Garden Centre

  6. Look for the APH entrance sign on your right and follow the internal signage to the check-in area

Make sure to arrive with enough time to check in and complete your transfer to the airport.

Arrival instructions

When you arrive at APH Gatwick Park and Ride:

  1. Drive up to the automated barrier, the system will raise it for entry

  2. Follow road markings to the arrival bays and park your vehicle

  3. Head inside to Reception with your car keys and flight details

  4. A member of staff will check you in and securely park your car

  5. Board the comfortable shuttle bus for a short transfer to your terminal (approximately 10 minutes)

Shuttles run every 10-15 minutes, 24 hours a day. Please allow enough time for check-in and your airport journey.

Return instructions

Returning to your vehicle after your trip is simple:

  1. After landing, go to the APH shuttle bus stop located just outside your terminal

  2. Take the bus back to the APH car park

  3. Head to Reception to collect your keys

  4. Your car will be ready and waiting for you to drive away

Before using APH Gatwick Park and Ride, please review the following key details to help ensure a smooth experience.

Luggage Restrictions

Please note that APH transfer coaches cannot carry:

  • Bicycles

  • Surfboards or windsurfing boards

  • Other large or bulky items of a similar size

Snowboards and skis are permitted.

Security

APH Gatwick provides safe and secure parking with some of the most advanced security measures available:

  • 24/7 digital CCTV monitoring, with over 120 camera points across the site

  • Barrier-controlled entry and exit systems

  • Floodlit site for full visibility at all hours

  • Staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

Your vehicle remains onsite for the duration of your stay, and the APH team is always on hand to ensure it’s protected.

Disabled facilities

APH Gatwick is equipped to support customers with mobility needs:

  • Shuttle buses have wheelchair access

  • Staff are happy to assist with luggage handling

  • If you require help on arrival, press the assistance button at the barrier under the canopy and a team member will respond

  • At check-in, disabled customers can request to have their car parked near Reception for ease of access on return

Transfer details

APH provides frequent shuttle transfers between the car park and both Gatwick Airport terminals:

Buses run every 10-15 minutes

Transfer time to the terminal is approximately 10-12 minutes

Shuttles operate 24/7, serving both the North and South Terminals

Return shuttles operate at the same frequency, with both dual-terminal and dedicated services available

You’ll receive full details of where to catch your return bus when you check in

Vehicle restrictions

  • Maximum height: 2.4 metres

  • Trailers are not permitted

  • Vehicles must fit within a standard parking bay and be drivable with a standard UK driving licence

  • If your vehicle has a Ghost immobiliser system, please contact APH in advance to confirm any additional requirements

Terms and Conditions

    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • You can cancel or change your booking anytime before your parking period begins without any hassle or charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at the pre-booked arrival time you select during your reservation.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking before your arrival time, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on the adjustments.
